In this large town of character, you are in the rue de la Fusterie, an old 'calade'. Les Vans lies in the Ardèche Regional Nature Park, on the edge of the Cévennes, between Ardèche and Provence. Relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of swimming spots nearby (Chassezac, Ardèche, Cèze, Thines). Very well located for activities in the surrounding area. In Les Vans everything is within walking distance.
Les Vans and its surroundings: Superb walks to do, as well as sports activities (climbing, canoeing/kayaking, canyoning, caving, paragliding, via ferrata...). Basic shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars/terraces, within walking distance. Provençal market every Saturday morning and a evening market on Tuesday ( summerseason). Regular flea markets and pottery markets.
Lac de Villefort (lake) at 30 minutes / Chauvet Cave, UNESCO site: 40 minutes away. / Avignon and Nimes at 1.5 hours
